Yes. The world is a mess. And it is that way largely because we lack leadership, but also because the same country (#USA) is the common denominator when it comes to illegal invasions of sovereign nations, genocide and flat out abuse without any consequence. Just look around you. The history of the United States in the last 60 years speaks for itself.

The so-called leaders of the free world masquerade as such, when in reality their behavior is like modern-day Hitlers, if not worse.

In #IRAQ alone over 1M poor souls were slaughtered by the #UnitedStates. Tell me exactly what was accomplished there? Not to mention that the "WMDs" were deliberately made up.

So I ask the world to start thinkin critically and analytically. Last I checked #CHINA nor #RUSSIA have invaded a sovereign nation on false pretenses to kill over 1M innocent people and take over natural resources. Just hast not happened. The total opposite. #BRICS is leading the way by building stronger nations and creating upward mobility for all, not destruction.

And don't get me started on the plethora of atrocities committed by my governments (The United States of America) across #LatinAmerica and The #Caribbean. Here are just a few attrocites for your perusal:

1. The Guatemala Experiments.

2. The Bananera Massacres.

3. Sterilization of Puerto Rican women.

4. Padre Romero in El Salvador.

The list goes on and one.

Dwight D. #Eisenhower warned us, back in 1961, about the #MilitaryIndustrialComplex.

This article only serves as war propaganda against Iran. Imperialist war against Iran devastates the the Iranian people far more than any internal policies of the Islamic Republic could.

Not one word about Palestinians from you and what they’re going through. Why?

Why? You haven’t been there for Iranians during their nearly 50 years of their struggle against the torturous and murderous regime. Also, I didn’t notice you being concerned for people in Sudan, South Sudan, Haiti, etc, etc.

Thank you for your testimony. I too have fond memories from the Iranian family’s in Redlands CA in the mid 70’s who were so loving and kind and generous and brilliant. Such an impression they made on me. Prayers going up for them and their families.

I think this is a good article (with a specific focus! Is it supposed to cover every topic?). I hope we can avoid this kind of regime in the U.S. but it looks like that's where we're headed. I wondered how countries are taken over by zealots who's view is opposite of most citizens. Now I know firsthand here in the U.S. Oh, and Iranians in my life are very special people, just as described in this piece.
