Something Important To Share On Scientology
I have avoided discussing the full impact Scientology's harassment, attacks, and intimidation have had on my life. I realize now that I was mistaken.
I have been a target of Scientology’s intelligence agency, the Office of Special Affairs, for seven years.
The harassment, attacks, and intimidation are the price I pay for reporting on Scientology’s abuses, corruption, and criminal conduct.
I have mostly stayed silent on what they have done to me because I never wanted to make it about me and wanted to focus on my reporting on Scientology and advocacy for survivors and victims.
But a social media post by my friend Leah Remini about me and the reaction to it has made me realize that by staying silent, I am helping to normalize it.

Leah’s point (of course, she is the #1 target of Scientology) is essential; we can’t take on a totalitarian organization with billions in assets without the help of more people, particularly people with power.
Being a target of Scientology is exhausting, distracting, expensive, and painful. I am tired. I am tired of being suspicious of new people who come into my life, tired of having to vett everyone I interact with, and tired of being unable to live normally.
I am tired of constantly looking over my shoulder.
But I am not going to stop doing what I am doing. First, it’s not in my nature; second, I feel a sense of responsibility to the many survivors and victims of Scientology.
But I’m ready to admit the impact this targeting has had on my life, and I need your help.

Fairgame is like standing waist deep in the ocean and suddenly being hit by a big wave you didn’t see coming..it tries to quickly drown you, but you survive it, and catch your breath only to be hit by another wave…sometimes the waves come one after another..other times there’s a pause..but rest assured there’s always another one coming.
They are sociopaths.
Good on you for this approach, I really think it will help to eventually turn the tide.
HCO P/L 18 Oct 1967 is a key indicator of how impossible it is for Scientology to ever be benign. Speak ‘against’ SCN (about it) you are assigned a condition of enemy, the penalty being an SP declare. SPs are open to Fair Game (being deprived of property or injured by any means, or be tricked, lied to sued or destroyed).
HCO P/L 21 Oct 1968 is evidence of how SCN will go to any means of concealing this practice from non-Scientologists due to its ‘bad PR’.
Policy will never change, so the practice will never change. Until tax exemption ends and there aren’t enough funds or people to maintain the current scale of practice.
