60 Minutes Australia used my exclusive reporting on Shelly Miscavige, Scientology, and the LAPD without crediting me. Reporting on this story came at an enormous personal cost to me, and reporting on Scientology is dangerous and expensive.
Oh wow! What recourse, if any do you have? It's very obvious to anyone who is paying attention that you're meticulous in your reporting. Which translates to many hours of putting in the hard work to produce a credible article. Wrong in any number of ways!

Very sorry to hear this, Yashar. And here I had a high opinion of their reporting on their latest Valerie Haney story that included Claire Headley. I hope they did not pull the same unprofessional tactics in that story as they did to yours. I see this type of plagiarism happening in popular blogs as well that commonly steal Tony Ortega’s reporting and give him no credit, making it sound as if they collected all the research/reporting themselves. I no longer follow that plagiaristic video channel. Meanwhile, keep doing your excellent work, Yashar.
Yashar, I read your report on Shelly when it came out and very much appreciate all the work you have done on reporting on Scientology. You know... It is 60 Minutes Australia. From some of the other 60 Minutes Australia reports I've seen, I get the sense that the Australian version doesn't quite adhere to the standards of the original 60 Minutes. That may not be any consolation.
That is terrible 😞. I feel bad I didn’t right off notice that when I watched yesterday. All they would had to do is phone you and add you in to the exposure. I wonder why they didn’t?
They also yesterday re-released one they did from 10+ years ago and didn’t note the original date.
