Danny really, really hurt a lot of women, not just the ones he was convicted of raping. And he enjoyed it. He laughed about it. He threatened, harassed, and belittled his victims. His DJ moniker was "DJ Donkeypunch"(see the urban dictionary if you're not familiar with that word). This dude gave absolutely ZERO fucks about these women. He has shown no remorse, issued no apologies, and offered ZERO evidence of his innocence. Aaaaand...there were people around him, FOR YEARS, who knew what he was doing, who enabled him and lied for him and protected him...
Brian Tucker's comment was spot-on: she needs to leave the other abuser now, the church of scientology.
Regarding Bijou's comment about Danny being a great dad: sociopaths can often mimick social behavior and even be quite charming, charismatic, and talented. Danny, the rapist and abuser of women, "a great dad" to his daughter, eh? I wonder how he treated his wife?
Add in the whack scientology beliefs and concepts and its little bubble world of culty, arrogant entitlement and operating-thetan-superiority and...it's a shit-show...
I don’t feel badly for Bijou however; I do feel badly for her daughter. She didn’t ask to be born to a father who’s a rapist. I just hope Bijou takes this opportunity to leave Scientology & raise her daughter right. Visiting DM in prison is no place for a child. When she comes of age then that’s her decision but as a minor child she should not be made to go.
Wondering if this is to allow for Danny to divest his assets quickly to Bijou and their daughter, therefore Chrissie or anyone who did not lead to a conviction can’t get his estate in a civil case. Might have been Danny and Bijou deciding to do this together. Scientology would (I think) absolutely allow this for this cynical reason, right? Seems like divorce is worth granting in the name of Fair Game and depriving survivors any compensation.
I guess David Miscavage has decided to cut Danny Masterson loose for bringing negative attention upon Scientology and Bijou Philips is required to divorce him.

I sincerely hope she intends to divorce the entire Masterson family. Perhaps Judge Olmedo and the victim impact statements got through at least one scientology bubble.
She needs to take the ring off and stop the petition for visitation. This little girl does not need to involuntarily visit her rapist father in prison for the next 9 years:
Now she needs to remove her children and herself from the other abusive relationships in their lives by leaving the “church” of scientology.

JMO that this is about getting assets out of DM name before any civil suits. COS would be ok with a divorce that saved $$$ for them...
